What: Wal-Mart to restock $199 PC
Lowdown: Bummed that you missed the chance to get your grubby hands on the Everex TC2502 Green gPC, which was retailing for $199? Well perk up – there’s still hope and your computing world hasn’t come to an end yet. Looks like Wal-Mart is planning to restock the Linux-based PC and notes that it should be there “in the coming weeks.” This makes us happy.
The Everex TC2502 Green gPC runs on the Linux OS and has a 1.5 GHz processor manufactured by Intel under its hood. Other features include: an 80-Gbyte hard drive and 512 Mbytes of DDR 2 memory. We’ll keep you posted.

The downside? Some of our favorite games like Scrabble, Solitaire (and no, we’re not 80 either) are nowhere to be found. However, it’s safe to say that the website is targeted at a younger demographic. But we’re flexible.
